Found Steve, Mark Diane and Beverley playing charades in the medical room. I said I was disgusted, that it was totally unacceptable - they were wasting valuable study time. And if I didn’t get an easier mime next time, I wasn’t playing anymore!
Editors note. As indicated earlier, the lack of a proper study area meant that sixth formers tended to 'study' in whatever room was available at the time. According to the records there had been at a small sixth form contingent for close to five years and an established number of around 15-20 pupils for three years. Certainly the school saw fit to appoint a head of sixth formers, but until that year made no effort to find them a place to study. This may well explain the attitude of some of the pupils.
